"As a composer, my instrument is the orchestra, the ensemble or the solo musician. To make it possible for them to musically convey what I envisioned for a certain work, I like to have close, personal contact instead of just delivering a score. My music is unique and personal and should be played like that, but in a way that makes the musicians feel that this is also their music. 

Having workshops with the musicians is a way to enhance this experience. "
